Orka Sultan was taken into maintenance at İçdaş Shipyard, which is part of the Karpowership fleet within Karadeniz Holding.
The old cargo ship, built in 2001, was purchased by Karadeniz Holding in February 2016 and converted into an energy ship.
The 172564 DWT Orka Sultan, which is 289 meters long, 45 meters wide and 87,493 GRT,
has an energy capacity of 417 MWe.
The ship is expected to meet the sea again soon.
