Degz Robotic, which gifted the RoboTeam propulsion system that enabled Ortahisar Creatiny to return from the US with an award in April 2023 and is the supporter of the Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Team that KTÜ Creatiny returned from Egypt with three awards last month, has made its first sale to the US.
The sold ROV, the Mitras High Power Underwater Thruster (Mucif), which is AUV designed and produced with the injection method, operates in the 3s-6s voltage range by getting power from the M1 engine.
Mucif, which can reach a maximum depth of 500 meters, promises long-lasting performance underwater by providing high resistance to impacts. The body and propeller material of the pusher, which is made of polycarbonate, is made of aircraft-grade aluminum.
Degz Robotic General Manager and Chief Designer Kaan Öztürk said, “We sent some of our company’s development products from Trabzon to the USA. This was an important step for us since one of our biggest competitors provides service in the USA. After this stage, we aim to sell our products worldwide, especially in the field of educational robotics.”
