Kocaeli-based Norse Shipyard delivered the fishing vessel Troenderbas, which it built for Norway-based Westcon Yards and held the steel cutting ceremony in November 2022 . With the ship project number NB21/Y42, Norse made its sixth delivery to Westcon.
Norse and Westcon signed a contract for two trawlers in December 2023.
Designed by Norway-based SALT Ship Design, the ship is 73 meters long and 15.60 meters wide. The ship has a total fish carrying capacity of 2 thousand 213 tons.
