Ünye-based Bulut Shipyard has completed the Ro-Ro to RoPax conversion project of the ship Lider Trabzon, built in 1991 and belonging to its sister company Lider Gemi.
While Ro-Ros carry mobile products with the ship’s crew, RoPaxes carry mobile wheeled products and passengers in addition to the crew.
The new 7225 dwt RoPax, with a passenger lounge added as part of the work, is 147 meters long and 21 meters wide.
Lider Gemi’s fleet includes 22 ships, including Ro-Ro, dry cargo and general cargo.
