It was reported that Tolga Karagöl, who returned to his hometown Ordu after his contract ended after working on a ship in Senegal, fell ill with flu symptoms and was hospitalized, passed away. It was learned that the young sailor died due to malaria.
Karagöl, who graduated from Fatsa Maritime Vocational High School in 2008, was married and had a child.
Karagöl was a member of Ordu Fatsa Maritime Alumni Association (ORFADDER).
It was learned that Karagöl’s funeral will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 (today) at the Kışlaönü Mosque in Ordu’s Thursday district, and then he will be buried in the family cemetery.
