During the visit, the representatives were welcomed by KOSDER Chairman of the Board Hakan Çendik and Board Member Hüseyin Avni Şan.
The representatives made a detailed presentation to the KOSDER delegation regarding the investments that the World Bank plans to implement in maritime transportation in Turkey, and also made ideas and suggestions about other financial studies that will contribute to the Turkish maritime sector.
During the visit, Mayor Hakan Çendik informed the representatives about the work and activities of KOSDER and also gave detailed information about the current status of the Turkish coaster fleet.
Expressing his satisfaction and excitement from the visit, Hakan Çendik stated that one of the founding purposes of KOSDER was the renewal of the Turkish coaster fleet, and that they were ready to support any project that is in line with the requirements of the age, blended with technology and integrated with international regulations.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Hakan Çendik noted that they can include all studies that will move Turkish maritime forward in every field with dedication and high interest on their agenda, and added that as KOSDER, they always support development with an innovative perspective.
