Densa, which last added the chemical tanker named Densa Defne to its fleet in March 2022 , continues to expand its fleet.
Istanbul-based Densa Tanker Management has now added the Densa Derya chemical tanker to its fleet by taking delivery of it from the Danish Port of Esbjerg.
The 8,110 dwt tanker, built by Istanbul-based Anadolu Shipyard in 2008 under the name VS Salma and renamed Densa Derya, has a length of 122.60 meters, a width of 17 meters and a draft of 6.86 meters.
In the statement made by Densa Tanker, which emphasized that it will be operated in accordance with the highest safety standards; “This new ship will significantly increase our capacity in maritime transportation and strengthen our operations. We aim to further strengthen our presence in the sector for many years to come with Densa Derya, which will contribute to providing faster, reliable and efficient service to our customers.” It was said.
