The brand will act as an extension of the Mengi Yay Shipyard, offering refit services to new and existing yachts and clients.
“In response to increasing demand and the evolving landscape of yacht refurbishment, we are excited to announce the launch of our dedicated refit brand, Reviva Refit,” explained Mengi Yay. “This initiative is designed to bridge the industry gap, providing professional, budget-conscious, and superior-quality refits, rebuilds, and restorations.”
Reviva Refit will operate out of Mengi Yay’s 40,000 square-metre state-of-the-art facilities in Turkey and is poised to become another key destination for superyacht refit and custom builds in the region.
In collaboration with Mengi Yay, Reviva Refit employs over 250 highly-trained professionals and is committed to providing a high standard of craftsmanship. “Over the past decade, Mengi Yay has successfully completed an array of refit projects, including the extensive refurbishment of the 59.6-metre Trinity superyacht Grand Rusalina,” added Mengi Yay.
“The introduction of Reviva Refit comes at a time when the industry sees a rise in solo and freelance project managers, as well as small-scale operations. Our new brand addresses these market dynamics while upholding the quality and vision synonymous with Mengi Yay.”
Reviva Refit will be committed to enhancing sustainability in refitting, rebuilding and restoring yachts. By operating across multiple strategic locations, they plan to maintain competitive pricing and ensure flexibility.
They plan to expand their facilities and services in the next two years, with the ability to handle up to 15 refit projects annually in five years time. Reviva Refit currently has two additional slots available for the 2024 season.
