Export news has now come from Orhun Makina, which produced the largest crane of Turkish shipyards 100% domestically in July 2024.
Orhun Makina exported two shipyard cranes with a boom length of 40 meters and a lifting capacity of 40 tons to a shipyard operating in Europe.
The cranes, which were shipped to Europe in large pieces by a special ship from Haydarpaşa Port, were installed and put into operation within 15 days.
It was learned that the cranes, which are fully electric and have a load safety system, are produced in accordance with European standards and under the supervision of BV.
From scrap European cranes to today…
Mehmet Ertürkmen, founder of Orhun Makina said, “I would like to share the pride of completing my professional career, which started <35 years ago, as the leader of the team that exports cranes to Europe. When I first started my career, I feel that the pride I felt after witnessing 60-70-year-old European scrap cranes being brought to our country and attempted to be installed has now turned into pride as our 100 percent domestic production is exported to European shipyards. “I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this success”
