According to the exercise scenario, while the 4725.9 dwt Janet was on its way to Italy’s Vasto Port in the Adriatic Sea, a helicopter belonging to the Italian Coast Guard approached the ship, brought down the officer and a wounded person, and then pulled it back.
As the exercise ended successfully, the crew of the Janet ship was thanked by the Italian Coast Guard “for their healthy cooperation and rapid action.”
