His colleagues organized a farewell dinner for Özgün Utku Alanç, who announced that he was leaving his position as CEO of ARES Shipyard at the beginning of August 2024 .
It was noted that all employees wore white at the night, where ARES Shipyard Chairman of the Board Kerim Kalafatoğlu was also present.
A farewell letter to Alanç was published on ARES Shipyard’s corporate social media accounts.

We would like to express our satisfaction and thank you for having the opportunity to work with you at ARES Shipyard for many years.
Every moment we share with you will remain with us as the best example of the spirit of cooperation. The experience we gained from and with you and the projects we accomplished together will have an important place in our careers.
Working under your leadership and leadership for 11 years has been both an instructive and inspiring experience for us. Your vision, your dedication to your work and your leadership approach that makes us feel like you are always with us have always taken us one step forward. Every moment we spend with you will remain a precious memory for us.
