Özgün Utku Alanç, CEO of ARES Shipyard, which operates mainly in the defense industry, announced that he has resigned from his position.
Making a statement on his social media account, Alanç reminded that he has been working at ARES for more than 10 years, including five years as CEO, and said:
“Over the course of the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and colleagues, many of whom have then become close friends. I’ve also had the privilege of experiencing a number of firsts, including development of innovative products, expansion of exports to new markets, and exploration of new geographical territories. I sincerely hope that I’ve been able to contribute as much to this invaluable environment as I’ve learned from ARES Shipyard, my colleagues, our stakeholders, and our end users.
I’d like to express my gratitude to the shareholders & board members, my friends & colleagues at ARES Shipyard as well as our partners and end users for their support during this period.
I’ll be excitedly taking on a new challenge in a different location to continue my journey in the industry and, of course, I’ll stay connected.
Change is the only constant in life”
