NAVTEK, which started the ZEETUG series by building the world’s first fully electric and zero-emission tugboat and won award after award, published the report regarding its most important claim at this point with the three new constructions that were implemented afterwards.
NAVTEK, whose four electric tugboats it produced in succession are still used in the GİSAŞ fleet, shared the change in the carbon emission, energy and maintenance and repair costs of these marine vehicles.
In the report, it was underlined that a total of 1,462 tons of carbon dioxide and 4.2 tons of nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide were prevented from being released into the atmosphere, while GİSAŞ POWER I was reminded to have operated for 1,618 days, GİSAŞ POWER II for 500 days, GİSAŞ POWER III for 424 days and GİSAŞ POWER IV for 320 days.
